I have a wandering curious mind, forever learning and sharing with others
May I present to you, my treasure trove of modalities and areas of curiosity:
-
IFS (Internal Family Systems) is an effective psychospiritual framework for fostering non-judgmental self-compassion. In this work, I will help you to uncover and give voice to the many different “parts” of yourself, who are often warring against one another, or hiding beneath a lifetime of shame and trauma. I will help you to gently invite each of these parts forward — at which point, they themselves can tell you what they need in order to heal. We will also help find ways for your seemingly contradictory parts to learn how to speak to each other with kindness and respect. Over time, using self-leadership, you will be able to unburden yourself from legacies of family or cultural pain that were never meant to be yours in the first place.
-
Somatic IFS is IFS with even more focus on the body. Using the gateways of breath, awareness, and movement, you will learn how to access the wisdom of your body and release it from the anguish of carrying years of unfelt, unhealed suffering. There are a myriad of reasons why the body can become a receptacle or cage of emotional pain. As someone who has spent decades studying the body, teaching yoga & Qi Gong, and working as an acupressurist & massage therapist, I am uniquely qualified to assist you in liberating your body, mind and spirit.
Since you’re the one who will be healing your own relationship with your body, we can effectively do this work together over Zoom.

Learning and Healing through IFS and Expressive Arts: A Journey of Self-Discovery
In the realm of personal growth and healing, the integration of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy with expressive arts offers a profound and multifaceted approach. This unique combination enables individuals to explore and connect with their internal parts—distinct aspects of their personality—in creative and dynamic ways. Through methods such as creative writing, mark making, drawing, and dancing, one can gain deeper insights, foster healing, and enhance self-awareness. We delve into how these expressive arts can be utilized within the IFS framework to facilitate a holistic healing journey.

I also offer specialized support to those who wish to integrate the benefits of their previous transformational journeys into their everyday lives. Many people these days are experiencing extraordinary spiritual or emotional awakenings through such gateways as psychedelic journeys, shamanistic ceremonies, breathwork, ecstatic dance, drum circles, kundalini yoga, or even traditional prayer and meditation. These experiences can yield beautiful encounters with the divine, and with the true self. And yet “coming down” and having to return to mundane life can be challenging, and sometimes even traumatizing. My work will help you to braid these mystical and transformative experiences into the fabric of your everyday existence — allowing you to carry your mountaintop wisdom back home with you into the marketplace, into your family, and into your no-longer-normal everyday life.

Group work is a wonderful way to heal in relationship. I offer small groups for participants (typically 4-8 folks over 6 weeks) who will do in-depth internal work in a brave and safe space. Each person begins with setting their intention for our time together. Every week you’ll check in with your intention for your life, what’s currently blocking its manifestation, and I’ll facilitate one person processing while the rest witness. This is a more affordable option for healing and practicing IFS, with the richness that comes from sitting in circle with others.
When not in session, I enjoy teaching. I invite you to sign up for my email list to get info on upcoming workshops, group session series, or masterclasses.
